SPLO Mission, Staff, & Contact Us

Our mission is to engage the student body in meaningful and complex co-curricular activities that foster individual and peer development through leadership and experiential opportunities.

The Hawks' Hangout

The Hawks' Hangout is a perfect place for students to pass the time between classes. Located in the Campus Recreation Center, the Hawks' Hangout provides students a place to play a quick game between classes. Enjoy air hockey, foosball, Skee-Ball, pinball, board games, Nintendo Switch, Oculus Quest 2, or simply watch TV while enjoying a smoothie or coffee from the snack bar.

Any member of the Roger Williams community can utilize the Hawks' Hangout games by providing your RWU student ID to our Hawks' Hangout Handlers.

Monday-Friday10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday11 a.m.-9 p.m.

We're located in the Recreation Center in suite 206, just past the WQRI 88.3 FM radio booth, down the ramp, in the first office suite on the right. We can be reached via telephone at (401) 254-3088, via email at studentprograms@rwu.edu, or via fax at (401) 254-3355.
