Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk
Hello, Alumni Hawk Family!
The Office of Alumni Relations is in full swing this summer. We are in the middle of our 2023 Hawks Take Flight Alumni Tour where we are on the road meeting with our alumni. Stops include Maine in July, Connecticut in August, and New York City in September.
Our office also has a great list of events through the remaining months of 2023. Some highlights are the Howling Hawks Alumni Family & Friends Haunted Halloween Bash at Barrett’s Haunted House in Abington, Mass., Oktoberfest Alumni Celebration with special invites to the graduating classes of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 during Homecoming Weekend, and the annual RWU Alumni Association Holiday Party, which will be held in December at Narragansett Brewery in Providence, R.I.
We are also kicking off a new program: The Alumni Spotlight Speaker Series. We will host four speakers during the 2023-24 academic year focusing on Entrepreneurship, Construction Management, Architecture, and Law in Society. Stay tuned for more info in September.
We can’t wait to see you on the road or on campus.
Proud Hawk,
Kelly A. Scafariello '99
Assistant VP of Alumni Relations
The Association helps keep you connected and provides opportunities for you to engage with the University in ways that are especially meaningful to you. Whether you assist future students in discovering Roger Williams
for the first time, provide current students with career guidance, mentor young alumni, or be a volunteer for special events, we appreciate your support and commitment.
Membership in the Alumni Association is automatic upon graduation. The Alumni Association is devoted to keeping you informed and connected, and we encourage you to take advantage of the many programs available to our alumni community.

If you haven’t yet contributed, take this moment to reconnect with Roger Williams—and give back to the University that helped you find your path and passion. You can choose to support a specific school or campaign, or volunteer your time.
Alumni Chapters offer a great opportunity for alumni to connect with fellow graduates, foster lifelong learning, support their local communities and build connections with the University. They also serve as a valuable resource for new graduates and alumni who are relocating to a new city. Visit our Facebook page to join your group, or start a new one!
We are inspired by our network of talented Alumni, and are proud to share their stories.
