How to Build Your Own Wind Turbine
A team of Engineering students from the Class of 2022 share their steps for building your own “personal-use” backyard wind power
Our greatest source of support
My name is Kelly Scafariello, a proud graduate of the Class of 1999. In September 2022, I was hired as the new Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations. I pinch myself that I get to work at the very same place I played varsity volleyball, was an editor for the school newspaper (at the time was called The Hawk's Eye), hosted a radio show on WQRI, chaired Campus Entertainment Network and ultimately earned a BA degree in Communications with double minors in Marketing and Sociology/Anthropology.
It is my sincere hope to connect with you to learn stories about your time at Roger Williams and what you are doing now. I also look forward to sharing information on what is happening at Roger today, helping connect current students with alumni for professional development, and finding meaningful and authentic opportunities to keep our alumni active and engaged. Be sure to check out www.rwu.edu/alumni/events to stay current on any upcoming events and follow us on social media for more ways to get involved. Registration is open for Alumni & Reunion Weekend June 2-4, 2023!
If you find yourself on the Bristol campus or in the Rhode Island area, please reach out. I would love to connect with you because, Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk.
Be well and GO HAWKS!
Kelly
