You've just made a big decision and we are so excited to welcome you to campus this spring!  This site is your resource for your next steps and important deadlines listed in sequential order to help you complete each task at just the right time as you prepare for arrival.  We will send you monthly email reminders to keep you up to date on what you've yet to complete.

    Your RWU Login Credentials

    You’ll need your RWU login credentials before you can sign in and start working on most of the checklist items. Information Technology is creating your accounts and you’ll be notified you as soon as your accounts are ready for your use.

    We know that you have a number of new systems to log into as you complete checklist items. We want to make the process as easy as possible, so we've put together a guide with helpful links, login and password information, and tips!

✔️ Sign in to RogerCentral (self-service gateway) and RWU Google Apps (student email) accounts

✔️ Register for Spring Orientation 

✔️ Get registered for your Spring classes! Email the Orientation Office  with 3 days and times that you are available to meet with either a member of the Center for Student Academic Success or your Dean’s Office.  These meetings will be scheduled and you will be sent information on how to connect via Zoom.  Please note that these meetings will take place in Eastern Standard Time.

✔️Complete your new student housing application (if you are living on campus) - available beginning Wednesday, November 29.  Priority deadline, Wednesday, January 3.

✔️Submit your photo for your Student ID 

✔️ Update your emergency/personal contact information

✔️Complete your academic placement assessments - Check the placement website for guidelines (first-year students only)

✔️Submit final fall semester grades  or AP/IB scores for credit

✔️ Register for any academic or housing accommodations through Student Accessibility Services (if needed). Priority deadline, Wednesday, January 3.

✔️ Get started on your health and immunization forms  

✔️Waive or Enroll in University-Provided Health Insurance. Must be waived by Monday, January 15.

✔️ Accept/Decline Direct Loans and/or check for any missing financial aid documentation through RogerCentral. Deadline Friday, January 5.

✔️Visit studentaid.gov to complete your online entrance loan counseling and master promissory noteDeadline Friday, January 5.

✔️ Fill out the Student Veteran's Certification Worksheet  if you are planning to use VA benefits.

✔️ Log into Student Account Center, review your spring semester bill and finalize your payment options. Bills are issued starting December 1 and sent out on a rolling basis thereafter.  All payments are due Friday, January 5.

✔️ Start packing your bags!

✔️ Choose your room as early as Monday, January 8 (if you are living on campus)

✔️ Complete the required four RWU Hawks Online Orientation courses – Direct links to the courses will be sent to you in January. The email’s subject is “RWU has assigned you a course through Vector Solutions” and is sent by Roger Williams University Students. The due date to complete all four courses is Tuesday, January 23rd.

✔️ Submit your official, final, high school transcript showing your graduation date, if you haven't already (both first year and transfer students)

✔️ Submit final spring semester grades to update your transfer credit evaluation (transfer students)

✔️ Commuters, Transfers, and approved Residential Students, register your vehicle ahead of Campus Check-in

✔️Campus Check in for New Students - Monday, January 22, 2024

✔️ Move into your residence hall (if you are living on campus)

✔️Attend Spring Orientation - Tuesday, January 23, 2024
