Music Program and Technology Lab Assistant
Job Description
The Music Program and Music Technology Lab Assistant will help manage and maintain day-to-day operations of the Electronic and Computer Music lab in CAS 128 as part of the Roger Williams Center for Electronic, Computer and Experimental Music, and assist with music program activities including help with visiting musicians, and oversight of music and instrument storage and transportation. Duties include daily management of the lab, supervising open lab hours, maintaining inventory of studio items, and any music area related tasks as assigned on an as needed basis by Dr. Elliott McKinley and Dr. Catherine Hawkes.
Special Skills Needed:
Familiarity with using Macintosh computers, and a basic familiarity with reading music.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of DAW software applications and electronic music production, and/or any student who has successfully completed MUSIC 220.
Academic Major Preferred:
Music (major or minor)
