Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry provides the theoretical and hands-on education students need to launch a career in chemistry

The Department of Chemistry endeavors to provide students with both the knowledge and the tools to begin a life-long passion for scientific discovery and achievement. Students learn laboratory techniques, and develop their critical thinking and research skills needed to succeed in graduate school or careers in chemistry. Students can collaborate with faculty on research as early as their first year, presenting their research at meetings across the nation.
