RWU hosts NTHP/NDC Historic Real Estate Finance Training Seminar

Preservation Leadership Forum

Roger Williams University hosted a weeklong National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) / National Development Council (NDC) Historic Real Estate Finance Training Seminar from June 6-10 at the Providence Campus, sponsored by the 1772 Foundation. The seminars offer unique training opportunities for preservation professionals, advocates and those working on historic real estate projects. The high-level, fast-pace intensive workshops look at the real estate development process, and are based on the National Development Council’s highly regarded real estate finance modules, which have been specifically tailored to address historic preservation projects. The seminar was attended by 20 participants, and led by Corey Leon, NDC Field Director. Additional Summer 2016 Historic Real Estate Finance Training seminars are being held at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation headquarters in Washington DC.
