On Tuesday, March 20, from 9 AM to 12 PM, the Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges, Boston District is bringing its Administrative Trial Court Hearings to RWU Law. This is a fantastic opportunity to see how a hearing is run without having to leave the building!

The court will hear two cases on Tuesday: Dylan Bishop v. Electric Boat Corporation (Case No.: 2017-LHC-01152); and Andrew Gabriele v. Electric Boat Corporation (Case Nos.: 2017-LHC-00411; 2017-LHC-01120; 2017-LHC-01153; 2017-LHC-01726).

The second case is several cases consolidated and will likely take most of the morning to hear.  Attached are the orders for both cases. The cases both involve injury claims under the jurisdiction of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, 33 U.S.C. § 901 et seq. The second case involves multiple injuries, disputed causation, and multiple witnesses.

Following the hearings, there will be a lunch in the Bayview Room with Judge Calianos and the attorneys.
