Campus Recycling and Waste Management
Campus Recycling Information
What is Single Stream Recycling? Single Stream Recycling means that you do not have to separate your commingled recyclables (small glass, plastic, and metal items) from your paper recyclables - they can all be placed TOGETHER into ANY commingled or paper recycling container!
Everyrecycling container on campus is now a Single Stream Recycling Container for paper and commingled recyclables.
Please note that cardboard is not part of the single stream recycling program -- please continue to flatten all boxes and place them next to your trash or recycling container.
How to Recycle Other Items at RWU
RWU recycles many other items besides commingled materials, paper, and cardboard. This table describes how to recycle other items at RWU and the contact person for each item. The online Facilities Work Order System can be accessed by clicking here.
