You are SO much more than just a test score. That's why we do a holistic review of every individual application. We are test-optional, so yes, this means it's OK not to submit scores. The average GPA of admitted first-year students is 3.5/4.0 (about a B+/A-), and the middle 50% of admits had GPA’s ranging between 3.25 and 4.0. At RWU, we look at each and every piece of information, accomplishment, and involvement- and always in the context of your personal, school, and local environment.
Interested in transferring to RWU? We will accept up to 75 transfer credits towards your degree as long as you received a C or higher grade from an accredited institution. Check out our transfer admission requirements.
We May Cost Less Than You Think
Our standard rate tuition for 2026-27 is $47,928 (this does not include housing and fees). Each year, 99% of students are awarded RWU Scholarships and/or need-based financial aid on an annual basis. All applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships which typically range from $18,000 to $24,000 per year (we guarantee that aid for all four undergraduate years). Select students may qualify for our Intercultural Leadership Ambassador Scholarship (ILA), which is an award that covers 95% of tuition annually.
