Women Who Lead at RWU: A Women’s History Month Series

Exploring the stories of women leaders across Roger Williams University whose leadership, mentorship, and service embody the power of “Give to Gain.”

Each March, Women’s History Month offers an opportunity to recognize the women whose leadership, vision, and contributions shape our communities in lasting ways. At Roger Williams University, that impact is felt across every corner of campus – in classrooms, offices, research spaces, and student organizations – where women are leading with purpose, advancing ideas, and strengthening the fabric of the university.

This series brings together a range of voices from across RWU, highlighting women leaders spanning executive leadership, faculty, staff, and students. Each profile offers a closer look at the paths they’ve taken, the values that guide their work, and the ways they are contributing to a culture defined by collaboration, growth, and opportunity.

Inspired by this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” these stories reflect a shared understanding: leadership is not simply about achievement, but about what we invest in others. Whether through mentorship, teaching, advocacy, or community-building, each of these leaders demonstrates how giving time, knowledge, and care can create pathways for others to learn, lead, and succeed.

Together, their stories illustrate the power of leadership rooted in connection – and the many ways that, at RWU, we grow stronger by lifting one another forward.
