Drive the Strategy: Data Insights & Growth of SECCM Social Media

Are you a "data detective" who loves finding patterns and solving puzzles? The School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management (SECCM) is looking for a Social Media Strategic Analyst Team Member to join our data intelligence unit. This role focuses on the "why" behind our digital presence, using real-world data to help SECCM meet its goals for recruitment and community engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Utilize Meta Analytics and other professional tools to determine SECCM’s social media strengths and weaknesses.
  • Performance Tracking: Help track key metrics across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to ensure each platform is meeting its specific goals.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and compare SECCM’s digital performance against similar engineering and construction programs.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Organize data findings and present them to the Content Creative Team to help them improve and optimize future posts.
  • Team Contribution: Assist the FIT Student Manager in developing and refining a comprehensive strategic plan for SECCM’s social media presence.

Qualifications

  • Work-Study Eligible: You must have an active work-study award to apply.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with numbers and interested in digital strategy.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to explain data findings clearly to creative team members.
  • Reliable and Dependable: Able to work a minimum of 5 hours per week (and up to 20 hours) during the academic year.
  • Confidentiality: Must be able to maintain professional confidentiality at all times.
