Stitching Women’s History: An Art & History Workshop

Artists Stacy Morrison and Beth Duffy (RWU) come together for a conversation exploring women’s labor, creativity, memory, and civic engagement. Drawing connections between artmaking, women’s suffrage, and public protest, the artists will reflect on themes of place, remembering, and the often-unseen labor of women. An optional participatory activity will invite attendees to engage with these themes through making. This event is a continuation of last year’s workshop and artist talk and is being hosted by the Rhode Island Historical Society.

Workshop registration costs $20; $15 for RIHS members and students with a student ID.
