From their porches, beside their pets and inside their homes, education majors held up colorful signs and delivered video messages to the students and partners at their teaching placements. In previous years, these seniors would have completed a full-time 14-week practicum inside a classroom. Since all RWU learning went online after Spring Break, so did their teaching placements. They worked closely with their host teachers to continue providing quality education in a virtual format, and serving as a source of support for their students in a challenging time. The video was a gesture of continued encouragement for their students and thanks for all the experience they gained.
