RWU School of Continuing Studies Partners with RI Dept. of Labor and Training

15 RWU Certificate Programs now included on the Eligible Training Providers List by the State Workforce Investment Office

BRISTOL, R.I. Roger Williams University School of Continuing Studies has been named a workforce development training partner with the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training in which 15 of its certificate programs, ranging from community development to paralegal studies are now approved and featured on the Eligible Training Providers List provided by the State Workforce Investment Office.

The Eligible Training Providers List (ETPL) guides local professionals, jobseekers and students with accredited and approved training programs across a variety of industries such as business, construction, hospitality and transportation. The Roger Williams University certificate programs newly added to the ETPL include the following:

  • Paralegal Studies (ABA Accredited)
  • Community Development
  • Nurse Paralegal (ABA Accredited)
  • Health Services Administration
  • Case Management
  • School Nurse Teaching
  • Municipal Management
  • Digital Forensics
  • Environmental Occupational Safety and Health

In addition, the following Certificate Programs that are congruently available online have also been added to the ETPL: Community Development, Health Services Administration, Case Management, School Nurse Teaching, Municipal Management and Digital Forensics.

Scurry, interim dean. “Now these professionals and students can access information on a variety of programs and certificates we offer at Roger Williams University. Our programs are created based on labor market statistics to concentrate on emerging fields and employment trends focused on job growth so that our students gain a real advantage in today’s workplace.”
