Professor explores city

NITRA, SLOVAKIA – As classes resume for the spring semester at Roger Williams this week, Associate Professor of Communication Amiee Shelton is helming a classroom more than 4,000 miles away and teaching public relations courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the Slovak Republic.

Via a Fulbright Scholar Award for the spring semester, Shelton is teaching in the arts department at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. While there, she will blog about navigating a new language and city, trying to find a decent cup of coffee, and experiences instructing at the Slovakian public university.
