Supported through the generosity of numerous donors, 2016 SAAHP Endowed Award and Scholarship winners are announced:

Thomas A. Fitzgerald Awards in Visual Arts Studies
First Place: Samara Hanon, $500
Honorable Mention: Emily Adler $250, Kayla Catanzaro $250
Thomas A. Fitzgerald Awards are supported by the Fitzgerald Family, are given annually to three students who display excellence in Visual Arts Studies, and is open to majors and non-majors.

2016 Kaestle Boos Associates Scholarship in Architecture
Austin Scott $1600
The Kaestle Boos Associates Scholarship is supported by Charles Boos, AIA, principal at Kaestle Boos Architects, New Britain, CT and Foxboro, MA, and given annually to a graduate student in Architecture for academic and design excellence.

Raj Saksena Memorial Scholarship in Architecture
Mariam Yaqub $2100
The Raj Saksena Memorial Scholarship is supported by numerous donors including Mrs. Cynthia Saksena, In memory of Raj Saksena, FAIA, founding dean of the School of Architecture. The scholarship is awarded annually to a graduate student demonstrating leadership and special interest in sustainable design or housing.
