Designed for Double Majors
The International Business major is structured to make it easy to double major in another business area, such as Management, and graduate in four years.
All required International Business major courses designated as IB are double listed as Management courses designated by MGMT. As an International Business major, by completing two required courses for the Management major, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources, you will graduate with two majors, International Business and Management.
Earn a Dual Degree from ICN Business School
Through our Exchange Program with ICN Business School, a triple-accredited business school in Nancy, France, students spend their junior year abroad and bring the credits back to RWU. Upon graduation, they earn two bachelor’s degrees—one from RWU and one from ICN Business School. Courses at ICN Business School are offered in English.
International Business Learning and Global Opportunities
The International Business major educates our students focusing on the following areas:
- Management of multinational corporations
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Sustainability
- European Union vs. the U.S.
- Other corners of the world (e.g., Asia, Latin America)
We work to increase participation in traveling abroad, to increase involvement in research and participation in international conferences, to prepare our students for graduate studies, to place our graduates in multinational corporations, and to keep them connected with RWU after graduation.
