Student Accessibility Services Graduate Assistant
The Student Accessibility Services Graduate Assistant will report directly to the SAS Director. This position resides in the CSAS/Academic Affairs Office.
- Meet with students for skill development and check-ins
- Assist with material preparation for faculty to accommodate students with vision impairments
- Assist with the development and facilitation of department programming
- Serve as a proctor for exams
- Attend regular meetings with supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be current or accepted RWU graduate student
- Be in good academic and judicial standing with the University and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Empathy, Patience, and Compassion when working with others
- Able to work independently with supervision
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality policies when working with students and accessing student records
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference may be given to students that have completed, or plan to complete, an honors/senior thesis at the undergraduate level
Must be a current graduate student accepted into the MS Criminal Justice program at RWU. This role will be available for the 2025-2026 academic year.
May work 10-12 hours/week, paid at $20/hour up to $4,000 per academic year.
