This certificate allows individuals with a technical background to expand their cybersecurity skillset with technical coursework in the program. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in order to be eligible for Graduate Certificate Admission.
The Cyberspecialist certificate program is taught fully online and can be stacked with our Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics certificates, along with a thesis project, to earn the M.S. in Cybersecurity.

To be considered for admission to the Cyberspecialist Graduate Certificate program, applicants must hold an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. To apply, submit the following:
- Completed online application form accompanied by the $50 application fee
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework
- Letter of Intent (two double-spaced pages maximum) describing your interest in the program, relevant past experiences, and career goals
- Official BCI or equivalent background check conducted in your home state.
