Graduate Student Scholarships
RWU offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for graduate students.
Graduate Scholarships
All graduate applicants are automatically considered for institutional scholarships. No additional scholarship application is required for consideration. These scholarships vary in value and are primarily awarded to those who apply by the priority deadline. Applicants who apply after the priority deadline may receive scholarships if funds are still available. Students will be notified at the time of acceptance if a scholarship has been awarded. In addition to scholarships accepted
Architecture (M.S) Program Scholarhips
The graduate program in Architecture offers guaranteed paid graduate assistantship and internship opportunities to all students admitted to the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree program. Each full-time student receives $4,000 per year as part of the Career Investment Program, which provides the student with 200 hours of paid work in an internship setting (i.e. with an architecture firm) or working with a faculty member on project-based research.
For students possessing a 3.0 cumulative GPA or above upon admission to the program, merit-based scholarships in varying amounts are awarded in addition to the paid assistantship or internship. Students will be notified at the time of acceptance if they have been awarded a merit scholarship and a separate scholarship application is not required.
Preservation Practices (M.S) Program Scholarships
The graduate program in Preservation Practices offers guaranteed paid graduate assistantship and internship opportunities to all students admitted to the M.S. in Preservation Practices degree program. Each full-time student receives $4,000 per year as part of the Career Investment Program, which provides the student with 200 hours of paid work in an internship setting (i.e. with an architecture firm or preservation organization) or working with a faculty member on project-based research. The assistantship will be prorated at 50% for students who take part-time coursework (six credits per semester).
