Mark Andreozzi

Mark Andreozzi, Assistant Athletic Director for Club Sports and Fitness

What is your position at RWU?  What do you do?  How long have you been at RWU?

As Assistant Athletic Director, I oversee the Athletic Training Room, Fitness Center, and Club Sports.  I have been at RWU for 20 years.  As Director of the Fitness Center, I employ over 30 work-study students and five building managers each year.

What gets you excited about coming to work every day?

Working in Athletics is always an experience every day.  I love working with the athletes and being to help coaches and the Department succeed.  Last year, I took over supervision of the Athletic Training room.  That has given me a chance to get back to where I started at RWU, in the Athletic Training room.  I was an athletic trainer for a few years before moving into administration.

What is your most memorable student experience?

My most memorable moment was being a part of the planning, design and opening our newly renovated Campus Recreation Center in 2003.

How has RWU changed/grown since you arrived?

The school has grown significantly, with new dorms, rec center expansion, and the staff.  The athletic department has grown from eight full-time people when I first started to more than 20 today.
