Student Focus is a new series being added to RWU Dance News.  Through it, students will have an opportunity to share projects and accomplishments that shine a positive light on them and their time in the RWU Dance Department.

In this first installment of Student Focus, we turn our attention to Caroline Zambernardi, 2021. Before COVID-19, Caroline could be found in the basement studio of the "The Barn" taking class and rehearsing for performances. Caroline is working toward a Minor in Dance Performance but is also pursuing a Major in Communications & Media Studies and a Minor in Marketing.

Earlier in the semester she was given an assignment to create a podcast. She states, "The project was for a Podcasting class, an elective class offered from the Journalism department. The professor who taught this class was Janine Weisman. The assignment was a 4 minute and 30 second profile on someone we find interesting and has a story to tell. We had to record them in the field and also conduct an interview, as well put the podcast together." The individual she chose as the subject of her podcast was  Accompanist/Composer for RWU Dance, Michael DeQuattro.

We hope you will celebrate Caroline's achievements no matter how big or small by taking a moment to enjoy her interview with Michael DeQuattro.
