Dermody Joins AISC Partners in Education

Robert Dermody, AIA, Professor of Architecture, has joined the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) as a Member of its Partners in Education Committee.  The committee assists universities in preparing students to become knowledgeable in the use of structural steel in programs including Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, and Structural Engineering. The group is involved in curriculum development, faculty development, student activities, and industry interaction. The committee is composed of engineering, construction management, and architecture educators; steel fabricators; consulting engineers; and construction managers.
