We want to make sure visitors are aware of any roadwork that may impact arrival/travel time. We encourage visitors to check the Rhode Island Department of Transportation website often for more information, and traffic cams. 

Mount Hope Bay Bridge Construction

The first phase of the Mount Hope Bridge dehumidification system installation will begin on January 20, 2026, and continue through April 2026. During this period, alternating lane closures will take place Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. while scaffolding is installed above the bridge deck.

These lane closures may result in traffic delays, so we encourage all visiting guests to plan additional travel time when crossing the bridge. For more information on the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority and its projects, please visit the RITBA website.
