Olga Mesa joins SAAHP as Assistant Professor of Architecture

Olga Mesa joins SAAHP as Assistant Professor of Architecture, after extensive recent teaching at RISD, MIT, Harvard, the Universidad Tecnologica Equinoccial (UTE) in Ecuador and Northeastern University, and as a Research Associate at Harvard’s Material and Performance Systems Group. Mesa will be teaching an Arch 515 Graduate Design Studio and Arch 287 Computer Applications in Architecture in Fall 2016.  Mesa has worked for Gensler in Boston, 3SIX0 and Friedrich St. Florian in Providence, Lorcan O‘Herlihy and Gensler in Los Angeles. She received her MS in Design Studies at Harvard in 2015, where she won the Daniel Schodek Award, and her B.Arch. from RISD in 2000, where she won the Henry Adams AIA Medal as the top graduating student. Mesa was part of many award winning projects at 3SIX0, and has exhibited her work with colleagues at Harvard and RISD.
