Building Monitor
Job Description
- Building Monitor are expected to serve as a resource and presence in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends to act as a “troubleshooter”
- Supervise the activities and functions within the recreation and fitness center
- Open Fitness Center and recreation center on a daily basis
- Close the Center and recreation center on a nightly basis
- Responsible for coordinating with relevant departments ie: Public Safety, Facilities, Student Life
- Monitor access to the Center by checking in patrons via IMLeagues
- Respond to questions, provide information, and conduct referrals to other areas on campus
- Ensure fitness monitors are inspecting the cleanliness of the fitness area
- Ensure the building is being used by members only
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
Special Skills Needed:
CPR certification preferred but not required
