Homecoming & Family Weekend

Homecoming & Family Weekend takes place every October and is the perfect way to share your RWU experiences with your family! This weekend is designed to bring you and your family closer to the RWU community and to show school spirit. And if you are an RWU Alum, this is your opportunity to come back and enjoy the fun and spirit of the RWU community. The weekend includes:

• Autumn Festival

Friday, October 21 – Sunday, October 23, 2011

Homecoming weekend begins with the end of the Inter-Class Council’s Spirit Week. On the evening of Friday, October 21st join us for Casino Night. This event kick-starts Homecoming weekend with the company of friends and family playing classic casino games while enjoying light refreshments. Following Casino Night, The Campus Entertainment Network (CEN) hosts Midnight Madness, the Winter sports pep rally. Midnight Madness takes place in the Gymnasium and all students and families are encouraged to attend this highly spirited event.

Saturday, October 22nd is a fun-filled day of alumni events, sporting events, informational workshops and family activities! The coronation of Homecoming King and Queen will take place this day followed by Autumn Festival. Autumn Festival takes places on the Commons Field with activities sponsored by many campus clubs and organizations. Live music and ICC’s Fall Classic Finals take place during Autumn Festival as well. The day will end with a special event that will be announced closer to Homecoming.

Sunday, October 23rd closes out Homecoming with brunch and farewells. Please come visit us again!
