Incoming Mail

United States Postal Service mail delivery is received at 9:30 a.m. USPS Express Mail is delivered daily every morning and prior to 3:00 p.m. No deliveries are made on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

Mail and packages can be picked up at the Mail Center during regular operating hours for students living in campus housing.

IMPORTANT: if you are NOT living in campus housing, please have mail and packages shipped to your off-campus residence, NOT RWU's address.  The Mail Center does not handle packages for students not living in campus housing.

The following delivery companies provide service to the university on a daily basis (except as mentioned above) UPS, Amazon, FEDEX, FEDEX Ground and DHL. These couriers arrive between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

All mail and packages are received in bulk and are sorted after arrival at the Mail Center  Then, they are scanned and logged into our computer system.  For students living in campus housing, emails will be sent notifying them when they have mail and packages at the time that the Mail Center scans them in.  Students must bring their student ID cards to the Mail Center to pick up their mail and packages.

Departments do not receive emails when packages are scanned in, rather their packages are delivered by Mail Center employees to pre-designated areas within the campus buildings.

Attention students and departments: when inquiring about a package, please have a tracking number from the sender to allow us to track this package in our system. All packages are signed for in bulk by one of the mailroom staff on keypad equipment provided by the delivery company.

Freight deliveries, for packages 100-pounds and more, cannot be accepted at the Mail Center.  Such deliveries are received on North Campus at Facilities Management.
