Virtual Engagement and Resources
The Department of Student Programs, Leadership, & Orientation (SPLO) remains committed to our mission to engage the student body, even in this unprecedented and uncertain time. Events on campus will be different from what we're all used to experiencing, but there are still plenty of ways to get involved and engage with the campus community.
Meetings, Events, and Programming
Our more than 80 clubs and organizations still have so much to offer all undergraduate students on and off campus. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our clubs and organizations have continued to operate, holding virtual group meetings regularly and continuing to offer events and programming for the student body, whether virtual, hybrid, or in-person.
For more information about our student clubs and organizations, please visit our Clubs & Organizations webpage.
Students can also logon to Hawk Link using their RWU single sign-on (SSO) credentials to learn more about involvement at RWU, including club and organization meeting times, upcoming events and programs, and leadership opportunities.
SPLO has an active social media presence on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok. Please follow us on social media to stay up to date on campus involvement.
Also, be sure to follow your favorite clubs and organizations on social media. Information about each club and organization's social media presence, such as the platforms on which they are active and the links to their social media accounts, can be found on their respective Hawk Link pages.
Virtual Event Guide
At the start of the fall 2020 semester, SPLO created and distributed a virtual event guide to help our clubs and organizations transition to virtual meetings and events amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the new safety guidelines implemented by the University and the State of Rhode Island.
SPLO continues to keep our Virtual Event Guide up to date in accordance with all University and state safety guidelines. We encourage our student leaders to be innovative and to continue providing the student body with exciting and engaging programming and events, as safely as possible.
