Office Assistant - Student Accessibility Services

Job Description

Supports the SAS office by answering phones, taking appropriate messages, greeting students entering and exiting the SAS Testing Center, delivers sealed/signed exams to campus offices, general filing, copying, scheduling of staff appointments.  Must sign a confidentiality agreement.  Greets and assists students, parents and faculty with general inquiries.  Additionally various general projects may be assigned.  Will be asked to attend Open Houses and Accepted Student Days on campus for SAS student representation. Experience in customer service preferred, but we are willing to train someone who is eager to work & learn!   SAS administers over 300 Final Exams and we cannot do this without our Office Assistants. This position MUST be available to work up until the last day of finals each semester.  A resume of office/work experience is expected upon applying. 

Special Skills Needed:   
Must be able to work in a multi-tasking setting, have excellent communication skills both telephone and in person and possess a high level of confidentiality.  Also must be able to deliver secure exams to faculty departments/offices across campus, in all types of weather.
