Assistant Multimedia Producer

Job Description

This role is an opportunity to take a digital production skillset and put it into action, assembling a portfolio of work and practical knowledge of multimedia production. We’re looking for someone with an interest in creating quality multimedia stories using video, photography and text to tell the story of Roger Williams University and what’s happening around campus. You’ll work as part of the Editorial Services department, sourcing potential stories, assisting in video production, post production and more.

This position exists as a work study position (full-year) and an internship position (one semester). In your email application, please indicate which you are interested in and eligible for. There is also a FIT position within the Marketing & Communications department that involves multimedia production as it progresses.

Special Skills Needed:
Ability and experience with shooting and editing video/photography to tell an organized story. Familiarity with conducting interviews, writing stories and/or creating marketing campaigns. An awareness of what is happening on campus.

Academic Major Preferred:  
Journalism, Film, Marketing, Visual Arts or prior experience.
