Commitment to support the development of diverse business leaders.

As part of its commitment to support the development of diverse business leaders, CVS Health has partnered with the Professional Education Center at the University College at Roger Williams University to create a new, customized professional development program – CVS Health: Executive Learning Series for Diverse Suppliers.

The objective of the educational program is to help diverse vendors gain critical management skills.  The Professional Education Center and CVS Health have collaborated on the development of the curriculum with: National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Veteran-Owned Business Association, National Veteran Business Development Council, Rainbow Push Coalition, National Minority Development Council, Disability:In, Supply RI, US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

The curriculum offers training opportunities for diverse business leaders to expand their capacity, skill level, and growth potential in areas such as marketing, finance, leadership and human resources. 

Fifteen Diverse suppliers will be selected to participate in the program. While there are many benefits to participating in this program, please note that participation in no way guarantees business or preferred treatment from CVS Health and/or its procurement team.

  • April 20 - May 11—Selection period
  • May 16 - May 20—Notification of candidate period
  • May 20- June 15—Program onboarding/orientation 
  • June 15— Program start
