Michael Manning

Mike Manning is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Providence College class of 1997.  As a seventeen year veteran of the U.S. Army, he has served in a variety of capacities in both the active and reserve components respectively.  Mike has led troops in contingency operations in Kosovo and Iraq.  More recently he completed tours of duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom - Caribbean and Central America and Operation Enduring Freedom XX in Afghanistan.  Mike has previously served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Providence College, State Partnership Program Coordinator and Legislative Liaison for the Rhode Island National Guard.  In 2007, He was designated by the Providence Business News as a “Forty under 40” award recipient; Mike was awarded an honorary doctorate from Providence College in 2008.  In 2010, he graduated with distinction from the College of Naval Command and Staff.  He currently serves as an Operations Officer for Special Operations Detachment-Global in Coventry RI.  Mike has been published in the Fort Leavenworth Ethics Symposium Report and the Infantry Magazine.  His awards and decorations include two Bronze Star medals, the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the coveted Ranger Tab. He lives in North Kingstown, RI with his wife Meg and their three children – Michael, Jack and Shannon.

Shayna McDonough

Shayna has spent over 10 years of experience designing and delivering learning solutions that grow businesses and transform professionals into better, more fulfilled performers and leaders. She is an accomplished Talent Development Strategist and Organizational Growth Coach with a passion for cultivating diverse talent pools, and leading system change initiatives. Her primary focus of expertise is in the areas of leadership, performance management, communication, transformation and long-term growth planning. She advises companies on direction, planning and the execution of their tactical and strategic goals. Additionally, Shayna coaches individual executive leaders on the implementation and sustainability of performance management practices, people process development, and operational excellence. 

Prior to establishing her consulting business, Shayna spent a decade in NYC growing workforce development initiatives for two difference NYC government agencies. In her most recent role, she was a senior program leader for the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline. The TTP is an initiative designed to foster the growth of diversity and inclusion within the NYC tech sector by sourcing and training in-demand, under-represented talent into hundreds of jobs at tech and innovation companies throughout NYC.

Shayna is an Adjunct Instructor for University College at RWU. She earned her BA of Cultural Anthropology at Rhode Island College and her Masters in Political Science/Public Administration at the University of Rhode Island. 

Denise Mei

Denise Mei holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and is an award-winning Creative Director with 20+ years of experience creating innovative marketing and editorial solutions for some of the world's leading brands. She currently works at iHeart Media, managing a team of designers, marketers, and web developers that create brand content for both digital and print. Denise is an industry leader recognized for her art direction in creating stunning visual assets that take into account analytics, industry standards, best practices, and the latest use of technological advancements. In addition, Denise owns and operates a successful design studio, Mei Design, that creates marketing and editorial assets for a broad range of clients.

Jerome Moynihan

Jerome Moynihan is a seasoned procurement professional with over 32 years of public and private sector experience.  He has an M.B.A. from Bryant College, and holds two national procurement certifications: C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) and CPPO (Certified Public Purchasing Officer). Jerry is also a Master Instructor for the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) and, when not teaching economics, marketing, and management as an Adjunct Instructor at local colleges and universities, he travels the country to lead procurement seminars.

Mohammad Raissi

Mo comes to us with 25 years of industry experience in product Engineering, Operations, Finance, Managerial Economics, and Economic Planning. His professional tenure had been with corporations such as Chinet, Hasbro, Toyota, Stanley, Citi, Jarden, GSK, Jabil, Foxconn/Apple, Samsonite, etc. He received his Bachelors degree in Engingeering, his MBA in Finance and his DBA in Economics. 

His academic and professional competency started in Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and transitioned to Finance, Managerial Economics, Network optimization, and executive leadership in multi-national organizations.

He served as heads of manufacturing plants, Production, Operations, Supply-Chain, CFO, and Economic studies with global brands in Toys, Consumer Products, Medical, Retail, Automotive, and academia. He remains engaged with many regional corporations focused on consulting in areas of Economic planning, Financial Management, Workforce integration, and Commercialization while bringing his professional experience to the classrooms at many of Rhode Island universities including Brown, Bryant, University of Rhode Island, Providence College and Roger Williams University. 

Dennis Rebelo

Dr. Rebelo is Assistant Professor of Industrial Technology. His undergraduate degree in at Organizational Behavior & Analysis & Psychology from the University of Rochester led him to teaching before earning a Masters of Science in Leadership & Business Ethics from Duquesne University. Dr. Rebelo holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from Saybrook University in Organizational Systems from the School or Organizational Leadership & Transformation.

Over the last twelve years Dr. Rebelo has served as a lead catalyst or chief educational consultant to some of the nation’s most recognized established organizations and brands. His work ranges from managing ground-up builds of educational institutes for rapidly developing companies to strategic mapping and actual deployment of instructor led and online educational programming.

Dr. Rebelo encourages leaders, students and academics to use a narrative lens to inspect systems, leader-member exchanges and organizational culture as a way to imbue a humanistic spirit into shared missions and visions.
