Presidential Profile Review Requested

Dear Roger Williams University Community,

We are pleased to provide the draft Position Profile for RWU’s 11th President for your review and comment. In preparing this draft, the Search Committee drew upon the invaluable input you provided at the listening sessions and through the on-line survey that was posted on the presidential website.

As promised, we are seeking your input once again -  this time to confirm that the document is an accurate reflection of the Roger Williams University you know as well as a compelling description of the role our next President needs to play. 

The primary purpose of the Position Profile is to provide candidates with information about the university, its challenges and opportunities, and the qualifications we believe the next president must possess in order to meet those challenges and seize those opportunities. Since this is not yet a final document, we have placed the document on box.com where it is accessible, but not downloadable, and we have marked this as “Draft” on each page accordingly.

Please send your comments regarding the profile no later than 6:00pm on Friday, September 28 to: presidentialsearch@rwu.edu

The Search Committee will review community feedback and incorporate it as appropriate into the document for final approval by the Board of Trustees early next week. Once approved by the Board, the Position Profile will be posted on the RWU Presidential website, advertised in various publications, and shared with potential candidates.
