Public Information Officer (PIO) Seminar & Practicum

The three-day Public Information Practicum Seminar and Practicum is designed to provide police officers whose responsibilities may include public information duties, with an opportunity to explore and refine their public communications skills.  The seminar will focus on basic tools, tactics, and techniques required in dealing with media and public information requirements, reinforced by practical exercises and on-camera interview opportunities. Though designed as a foundational PIO seminar, it is highly recommended for all officers who may interact with the media.
