40-Hour Basic Instructor Development Course

This 40-hour course is designed to introduce NEW instructors to the skills needed to be a quality instructor. Participants will be introduced to the principles of adult learning and begin to understand why this is a critical component to the success of their teaching ventures. They will understand the necessity to prepare for their presentations including developing training objectives, lesson plans and incorporating various teaching methods into those plans. This program will include PowerPoint instruction related to classroom delivery. There will be daily  opportunities for practical application of training methods and delivery.

The cost for the seminar is $550.00 which covers continental breakfast and morning break as well as all materials. Travel, lodging lunch, and dinner are the responsibility of the attendee; however area hotels have provided a special rate for personnel in attendance at this course.
