This one-day Property and Evidence Room Management seminar is designed specifically for personnel working in or overseeing the police Property and Evidence function. The session focuses on industry “best practices” and addresses national standards established to bring a professional and consistent approach to the traditional police Property and Evidence Room. Topics covered include: security of the evidence room, packaging of property and evidence, storage, temporary storage, policies and procedures, documentation, audits and inventories, and purging. The storage and handling of the three items that have traditionally caused the most trouble in Property and Evidence Rooms—guns, money, and drugs—will be highlighted.

The cost for the seminar is $160.00 which includes continental breakfast, breaks, lunch, and materials.
