The three day Introduction to Public Information Officer Seminar is designed to provide police officers assigned to the role of Public Information Officer with a basic understanding of their legal and positional responsibilities. The course will also introduce officers to basic tools, tactics, and techniques required in dealing with media and public requests for information, reinforced by practical exercises and some practice "on-camera" interview opportunities. Though designed as a foundational PIO seminar, it is highly recommended for all officers who may interact with the media.

The cost for the seminar is $425.00 which covers materials, continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.
