The Grant Writing seminar is designed to provide police officers that have recently been assigned to the grant writing function the opportunity to become familiar with the process. The seminar will cover writing the abstract, purpose of the proposal, statement of need, identifying goals and objectives, program narrative, evaluation section, budget and budget narrative, as well as sources of funding, and practical tips for implementing your grant. This session will include a hands-on opportunity to work on a grant proposal in the computer lab.

The cost for the seminar is $360.00, which includes materials, continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.
