Police supervisors are the most critical link between management and rank-in-file employees. Their role requires an understanding that they have the primary responsibility for identifying, eliminating and controlling police aberrant behavior. Through a combination of lecture, case exercises, and group discussion, this program will provide the first-line supervisor with useful guidelines to prevent, detect, and investigate employee misconduct as well as emphasize their role in creating and maintaining a healthy ethical environment in their agency.

The instructor is Chief John Moore, Holliston (MA) Police Department who has extensive education and experience in the field.

The cost for the two and a half-day course is $400.00, which includes materials, continental breakfast, breaks and lunch (no lunch provided on Wednesday, April 27, 2018). Checks should be made payable to  Roger Williams University Justice System Training & Research Institute (JST&RI), 144 Anthony Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
