The Garden Network: George Rogers Hall's Horticultural Activism

Sara Butler, Professor of Art and Architectural History, has written a book chapter, "The Garden Network: George Rogers Hall's Horticultural Activism," in "Foreign Trends on American Soil," which was recently published by the University of Virginia Press. Hall is noted for planting some of the first Japanese trees and shrubs in North America at his home in Bristol in the 19th century.
