The Aquatic Center features an 8-lane, 25-yard swimming pool that has both 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a co-ed sauna, a 70-square-foot-hot tub, and a spectator gallery with seating for approximately 200.

Pool Hours

All swimmers MUST check in with the lifeguards at the first aid desk prior to entry into the pool.

Offered is offered 1 Sunday every month throughout the academic year.  Times vary depending on weekend. $5 per family.

Children 12 &under must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 4 children under 12 per one adult. 13 & up can use the pool without an adult.

All participants must sign a waiver before entering the water.

Roger Williams University is offering lap swim to the community.  Lap swim is on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 6-8am AND Monday- Friday 11-1:00pm for an additional fee. Aquatics memberships can be purchased for use of the pool only. Applications must be filled out and brought back to the aquatics coordinator in order to receive the membership card. Swimmers are able to do a "one-time" trial swim for only $5.  After that, memberships must be purchased in order to do participate in community lap swim.  

(Please note this is for pool access ONLY not use of the facility. Waivers must be signed by each individual using the pool and children under 18 must have a parent sign. Days and times are subject to change due to weather and upcoming events.)

Roger Williams University is happy to announce that we have partnered with Ripples Swim School in Bristol, RI for all of our ' Learn To Swim ' programs.  RWU swim lessons will now be offered exclusively by Ripples Swim School at their facility right down the road from RWU at 15 Gooding Ave. Bristol, RI.  Please visit their website at for more information on all of  swim programs they offer.
