A Laboratory for Student Learning
The Richard L. Bready Applied Learning Laboratories is the hub of experiential learning for the School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management. Throughout its construction, it served as a hands-on learning opportunity for our students. A living laboratory in every sense, students went behind the scenes of the construction process and learned each step directly from industry professionals along the way, from excavation to structural engineering.
Our professors built experiential-learning opportunities into their curriculums while our project partner, Shawmut Design and Construction, provided real-world construction lessons to our students.
