The RWU Annual Fund...

'Cause it matters

Roger Williams University has undergone a decade of transformation in its mission to educate tomorrow’s scholars and develop the rising generation of thoughtful citizens. RWU prides itself on being an innovative, forward-thinking institution devoted to strengthening society through engaged teaching and learning. This is what it means to be a private university with a public purpose.

Annual Fund dollars help RWU students get involved in causes that matter to the communities we serve. These experiential learning opportunities are the cornerstone of a Roger Williams education, developing civic-minded scholars who dedicate their knowledge and skills toward creating meaningful change in local communities and around the globe.

Your support helps students like engineering major Juliette Caffrey learn firsthand about the choices families living at the poverty line must make daily. As part of a team of RWU students, Juliette examined food security issues in Rhode Island through a public health and psychology lens. The team delivered an advocacy brief to state lawmakers on the complex challenges for families facing problems of food access, poverty and homelessness and for the organizations that support them.

Your support of the RWU Annual Fund sends a strong message that you believe in the power of this work and its potential to transform lives. We invite you to help us pay forward the civic-minded spirit of our students with a gift to the RWU Annual Fund. ‘Cause….it matters.

RWU Students like Juliette are able to address real-world needs, thanks to you!
