The Annual Fund

Every gift will help put a value-added RWU education within reach.

When you make a gift to the Roger Williams University Annual Fund you join thousands of alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff who support the University with an unrestricted gift each year. All of those gifts – be they $5 or $500 – add up in a big way.

Unrestricted gifts provide critical support that enhances the academic and co-curricular experiences for all of our students.  From providing inspiring moments in the classroom to sustaining financial aid for deserving students, each Annual Fund dollar helps put a world-class education within reach.

Why consider making an unrestricted gift?

  • Tuition revenue cannot cover the full cost of educating our students.  Your gift helps make up the difference.
Tuition is the University's main source of revenue; yet, it only covers a portion of the total expense of operating the University.  Annual unrestricted gifts provide critically needed support to help bridge the gap - a gap that will only widen as the school freezes tuition, as part of the Affordable Excellence initiative, while maintaining and enriching the quality of an RWU education.
  • Your gift will reduce the financial burden being placed on RWU students and their families.
Since 1978, the cost of college tuition, nationwide, has grown by over 1,000%.  RWU recognizes that there is an imperative to help curb these escalating costs.  Your gift, this year, will immediately help reduce the cost of receiving an RWU education.
  • Roger Williams University is uniquely positioned to put your gift to work to ensure that every student graduates job-ready.
RWU combines the unique strengths of a small liberal arts college and those of a larger comprehensive University.  As a result, Roger Williams is one of the only schools where liberal arts and professional educations are enhanced by their integration and the recognition of their unity.

With your unrestricted participation, you can do your part for a better Roger Williams. Please do so today and make your gift to the Roger Williams Annual Fund.
