Alternative Spring Break Programs

At Roger Williams University, many students decide to skip the traditional Spring Break getaway for a richer, more rewarding experience involving service projects - both locally and abroad.

From providing access to medical care to underprivileged and medically underserved children in Rhode Island and around the world, to rebuilding homes in areas impacted by nature disasters, RWU Alternative Spring Break projects truly embrace RWU's core values of commitment to the community through service, collaboration of students and faculty and appreciation of global perspectives.

RWU’s Alternative Spring Break Programs provide unique opportunities for today’s students to learn from a hands-on service experience that simply cannot be duplicated in the classroom. They return with fresh perspectives and an increased focus on the importance of advocacy and education to make a difference in communities.

Your gift in support of RWU’s Alternative Spring Break Programs will allow more students to take part in these global, life-changing and community-building opportunities.
