Performances of the Dance Theater will be held on Thursday Dec. 5, Friday Dec 6, and Saturday Dec 7 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee on Sunday Dec 8 at 2 p.m.  The RWU Performing Arts Center is located on the University’s Bristol Campus at One Old Ferry Road.  Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors.  Seating is limited.

Additional works will be presented  by RWU dance faculty members Michael Bolger, and Cathy Nicoli and by senior dance majors Brianna Antaya, Emily Bartnicki, Victoria Bessette,  Jenna Gross, Shaelyn Lelievre , Jillian MacLaughlin. 

Seán Curran's  career in the arts spans 35 years, beginning with traditional Irish step dancing as a child in Boston. He is known for his performance work with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, for which he was honored with a “Bessie” award for his role in Secret Pastures, and as an original New York City cast member of STOMP! Curran’s 30 dance works for his professional ensemble Seán Curran Company are characterized by collaborations across genres and have toured to over 100 venues in the U.S., Europe and Asia. The company recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a season as part of the BAM 2018 Next Wave Festival featuring live music by the Grammy award-winning ensemble, Third Coast Percussion.A graduate and faculty member of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Curran is currently an Arts Professor and Chair of the Department of Dance. 

Christina Robson originally from Tewksbury, Massachusetts, received her early dance training from Tammy Ivers Aspell and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in 2009 under the direction of mentor Kelli Wicke Davis. Since relocating to New York City, she has had the opportunity to perform with The Sean Curran Company, David Dorfman Dance, Monica Bill Barnes and Company, Alexandra Beller, Heidi Henderson, Third Rail Projects, and Deganit Shemy. Christina became a member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company in 2015. She is on faculty at a Gibney Dance Center in New York City.
