Annual Turkey Basket Contest

Make Thanksgiving special for local families in need! Contest is open to all students, faculty and staff. 

Turkey Basket donations include non-perishable food items and a grocery store gift card used to purchase a turkey. Donations are distributed to the community through the East Bay Food Pantry, located right here in Bristol. 

In 2017, we received 2,648 pounds of food (a 36% increase from our 2016 drive) and $1,633 in cash and grocery gift cards. This year, we are hoping to increase our numbers yet again, but need your help to do so!

Additionally, to help get you all in the competitive spirit, these baskets are often designed and decorated by different departments or groups on campus, and then judged for quantity of food, creativity in design, and honorable mention. The winners of these categories will receive a restaurant GIFT CARD of $75 to fund your holiday celebrations.   

Baskets are due by 3:15 p.m. and judging will occur on Monday, November 12 at 3:30 p.m. in the GHH atrium. In order to participate, please fill out the survey by clicking this link.
