Classroom Visitors
Classroom Guest Visiting Lecturers and Panelists
All guests and visitors to Roger Williams University are required to adhere to the RWU Health and Safety Protocols. These protocols, applicable to all visitors regardless of vaccination status, require masking in all University buildings and prohibit individuals with Covid-like symptoms from visiting campus.
Single Visit Guests/Visitors
Additionally, RWU requires all visitors in classroom settings to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, to self-screen for symptoms prior to visit and to maintain physical distance (6 feet) during presentations and engagement with students. Faculty and department hosts are responsible for visual confirmation of vaccination status prior to the visit. Unvaccinated guest presenters may participate in lectures and panels virtually via Zoom.
Individuals Who Are More Frequent Visitors
The University reserves the right, depending on regional Covid conditions and public health safety, to require additional health and safety measures for our guests and visitors who have significant interaction with students, faculty or staff or who access the University on a more frequent or regular basis. Additional requirements could include some or all of the following:
- Proof of vaccination status
- COVID testing requirement
- Completion and submission of COVID Screening Tool questionnaire
