If you work for any government agency, local, state, or federal, then this one-day seminar is critical if you are currently using or intend to utilize drones in the future. This seminar will cover how drones are effective tools for Law Enforcement and Emergency Services, but there will also be an emphasis on how drones are also money saving tools for Departments of Public Works for survey mapping and inspection as well as for helping to protect conservation land. This seminar will introduce you to the most common types of drones, their costs of operation and the major difference between aircraft.

There will be a heavy emphasis on the certification processes for government workers, as well as the insurance requirements and penalties of operating illegally. Guidance will be provided in this session for developing community action plans along with safety management techniques to mitigate risk.

This seminar is taught by David Price, co-founder of the Drone Consultant Group which is a company that specializes in drone training, certification, and providing FAA certification for Government Agencies; and Joe Turner, an FAA Certified drone pilot and a commercial photographer, as well as former instructor for the New England Institute for Law Enforcement Management (NEILEM).
